Benign Skin Lesions

Non-cancerous skin lesions – such as skin tags, warts, seborrhoeic keratoses, benign moles, and cysts – are mostly harmless, but can still be symptomatic or cosmetically sensitive. Some benign lesions can be removed through the NHS, but access to these services is limited due to service pressures. Most benign skin lesions can be removed with a straightforward operation, leaving a discrete scar.
